Born out of the Provincetown Mews Food and Wine Society, The Mews Restaurant was started in 1964 with the goal of providing guests with a comfortable place to enjoy good food and drinks. Since 1983, The Mews Restaurant has continued this tradition under the stewardship of owner, Ron Robin.
The Mews Restaurant serves classically prepared, inventively presented gourmet cuisine designed to highlight the finest seasonal ingredients available. To create our nightly offerings, we source for the freshest ingredients from a network of local farmers, fishermen, artisans, and purveyors.
Our dishes feature grass-fed meat and wild game, free of antibiotics and growth hormones, free-range poultry, linecaught dayboat seafood and organic produce, with every element of each dish selected for a specific purpose. Ingredients, well known or exotic, are sought for their unique qualities and prepared in a distinctive style we like to call "American Global", combining indigenous Cape Cod staples with classic techniques from ethnically-diverse traditions.
The Cafe or Upstairs Dining Room, is a lively room with a relaxed vibe that looks out on the beach with an amazing view of the bay. Whether you are in the Bistro or Beach Level you will find the same great menu.
Look out the French doors or full-length windows and you will think that you are right on the beach. This dining room is a little quieter – perfect for conversations and sharing time with friends and family.
